LOCATION: Las Vegas, NV

The Project

This project will mark the first high rise built in Las Vegas since 2008, the architectural design of the residential units in Henderson prioritizes unobstructed views of the Las Vegas Strip while creating a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. To facilitate the construction of the two towers, phase 1 employs a combination of cellular concrete, a rockfall system, tie-back anchors, and a temporary wall. This temporary wall will feature a sculpted finish designed to blend seamlessly with the natural rock face, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the site while ensuring structural integrity.

The innovative use of cellular concrete allows for lightweight yet robust support, crucial for navigating the complex topography. The tie-back anchors will secure the structure, mitigating any lateral loading risks and providing stability as construction progresses.

In phase 2, the focus will shift to infilling the gap between the phase 1 material and the new structure. This phase will also ensure that all elements are anchored back to the existing rock face, reinforcing the overall design and eliminating potential lateral forces on the towers. When the job is finished there will have been over 60,000CY of class II cellular concrete material on this project. This thoughtful approach not only elevates the visual experience but also prioritizes safety and durability, allowing the property to integrate harmoniously with its rugged surroundings.
